Tell-A-Tale Yoga, Fun for Brain and Body
I know the class is In The House, and these photos are on the beach. And, although the scenery for our Tell-A-Tale yoga class will not be quite as breathtaking, the class will none-the-less be just as much fun!
Join us on Tuesdays from 9:30-10:15 for 45mins of fun, friends, story and peaceful, creative movement! Tell-A-Tale Yoga aims to explore the body's natural and joyful range of motion creatively through story. Stories provide children with a road map for problem solving, sparking creative thought and a variety of solutions for different problems and conflicts. As an added bonus, Tell-A-Tale Yoga aids children with literacy, as physical activity and the joy of movement are known to help children better retain story details and messages.
If you or someone you know has a little mermaid or monkey who is keen to celebrate the joy of yoga and story, contact us at info.yogainthehouse@gmail.com, or visit us online at www.yogainthehouse.ca. Registration is now open, class is limited to 6 participants.
P.S. Lakeview Fine Foods is only a few blocks away, as is 13th Ave Coffee House or Java Express. Drop-off your preschooler for a bit of fun and get the grocery shopping in or stop and have a cup of coffee out! Just a thought ;-)
Namaste,
